Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Hayscout Intelligence, Inc. ("hayscout.ai", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services.
1. Information we collect
- Email & role. When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and the role you select (Grower, Buyer, Broker, Other).
- Technical metadata. Browser user-agent and the referring URL, used to understand where signups come from and to debug issues.
- Account data (post-launch). When v1 ships, we will collect operational data needed to run the service: company name, location, hay grades you transact in, and listing/match history.
2. How we use it
- To notify you when hayscout.ai launches and to send product updates you have opted in to.
- To prioritize early-access invitations.
- To improve the product and understand market fit.
3. How we store it
Data is stored in our Supabase Postgres database, hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States. Access is restricted to authorized hayscout.ai personnel.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share information only with service providers necessary to run the site (e.g. Supabase for the database, our email provider for waitlist notifications) and only as needed to provide the service.
5. Your choices
- Unsubscribe. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
- Delete. Email privacy@hayscout.ai and we will remove your record within 7 days.
- Access. Email the same address to request a copy of the data we hold on you.
6. Cookies
This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. We may set a small number of strictly-necessary cookies for session and CSRF protection if and when we add accounts.
7. Children
hayscout.ai is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will email everyone on the waitlist before the changes take effect.
